It is your responsibility as the owner to ensure that your bike has a valid MOT whilst you are riding it on the road. If your bike is three years old you will need to get an MOT every year. Our skilled Technicians use the latest equipment with our MOT Testing Station to run your bike through for a set price of £29.65, no matter what type of bike you have. Along with the MOT Test, we run each bike through a Health Test, free of charge. We do this because even though your bike may pass the MOT, the Health Check provides you with a deeper knowledge of how safe your bike is. Though your brakes may be fit enough to pass the legal limit for the MOT, our technicians will be able to tell you just how much ware you have left in them before they need replacing or become unsafe. We also offer a text reminder service free of charge, so you won't have to worry about forgetting when your bike is due for another MOT. See below for a detailed list of what an MOT Test entails. As an Authorised Service Dealer, our skilled factory trained technicians will carry out the required manufacturers service for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Ducati. With the latest technology available, we offer competative prices on a range of services available for your motorcycle. We carry out services as reccomended by the manufacturers, and the prices for these are also set by each of the brands. Depending on how old your bike is and what brand you have depends on when you will need a service. With every new bike you will need a first service at a set mileage, which is usually around 600 miles. Depending on your mileage after your first service, you will either need to come in for an annual service after 12 months or a set mileage service if you reach the miles before 12 months. After your first service our dedicated team will explain the mile service requirements for your specific bike. We understand the importance of having your bike and when it is in for work you may find yourself lost without one. Getting to work without two wheels can be a pain, which is why we offer a Loan Bike Service to ensure you experience as little disruption as possible. Simply talk to our Service Team when booking in your bike to see the availability, once booked in you will need to bring along your national insurance number and driving licence in order to complete the form for the loan bike. When you've been involved in a motorcycle accident there is a lot to consider, and where to get your bike repaired is one of them. We work with many of the major insurance assessors to complete insurance estimates for the work needed on your bike. We also work closely with other local businesses should your bike require work that we are unable to carry out, such as body/paint work. Make sure you take good care of your two wheels, and talk to us about our tyre replacement service. We no longer offer a puncture repair service as the repair is not guaranteed to hold and most insurance policies won't cover you should anything happen and you have not replaced your tyre. Instead, if you are in need of a new tyre then talk to our service team who will be able to order and fit the tyre of your choice. We offer the top of the range fault finding and diagnosis treatment for all motorcycles, faults are usually found within an hour and an hours labour is charged. Most faults can easily be identified within this time, but rest assured if they are not you will be contacted before we carry on, ensuring no surprise extra costs.
