Braking is by twin front discs sized to haul down a bike capable of this speed, and the electronics package includes lean sensitive traction and wheelie control that let the V4’s output be used on a public road without drama. The V4 also brings Ducati’s counter-rotating crankshaft, borrowed from MotoGP, which resists the bike’s tendency to stand up under acceleration and helps it change direction far more readily than a 208hp motorcycle should.
