A twin-tube aluminium frame carries a 43mm inverted fork with rebound damping adjustment on the right leg and spring preload adjustability on the left, paired with a Horizontal Back-link gas-charged rear shock offering rebound damping and remote preload adjustment for quick changes when carrying a passenger. Dual 310mm semi-floating petal discs with radial-mount monobloc four-piston calipers, stiffer under load than a conventional axial mount, provide the stopping power, gripping 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres, with 150mm of front wheel travel and 152mm at the rear soaking up rougher tarmac. At 255kg with an 840mm seat, a 1,520mm wheelbase and a 27 degree, 106mm trail steering geometry, it turns with more agility than its touring remit suggests.
Flowing, sporty bodywork gives genuinely effective wind protection for rider and passenger, electronic cruise control takes the effort out of longer motorway runs, and advanced rider aids work alongside flexible luggage options to suit whatever the trip demands.
