The Ducati Streetfighter V2 takes the Panigale V2’s supersport engineering and wraps it in an upright, wide barred naked bike built for real roads rather than track days alone, giving riders genuine sportsbike performance without the committed riding position. Its 890cc 90 degree V2, with a 96mm bore, 61.5mm stroke, 13.1:1 compression ratio and variable intake valve timing sharpening throttle response, produces 120hp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm through electronic fuel injection with one injector per cylinder, sent through a six speed gearbox fitted with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 for fast, clutchless changes in both directions and a 520 chain final drive with a 15 tooth front sprocket.

A hydraulically controlled slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch keeps the rear wheel settled under hard braking, so the punchy, free revving V-twin stays exploitable rather than intimidating. A monocoque aluminium frame carries a fully adjustable 43mm upside down fork and a fully adjustable Kayaba rear monoshock working through an aluminium double-sided swingarm, giving the Streetfighter V2 composed, planted handling despite its taller, more upright naked bike stance.

Twin 320mm semi-floating discs with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc calipers at the front, and a 245mm rear disc with Bosch Cornering ABS, provide serious stopping power for a bike of this size, while Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres put the performance down through corners. With a 15 litre tank giving realistic range between fills, and at 178kg with an 838mm seat height and a 1,493mm wheelbase, it feels compact and manageable next to its full-fairing sibling, and the wider handlebars add extra leverage for quick direction changes that a clip-on equipped sportsbike simply cannot match.
