The first-ever motocross bike from Ducati – engineered for podiums, built for thrill. Designed in collaboration with elite motorcross champions, Tony Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino, the Desmo 450 MX is a fusion of Italian engineering and off-road dominance.
It’s beating heart is a 450cc Desmodromic single cylinder, producing 63.5 BHP at 9,400 RPM and 39.5 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 RPM. With it’s readline peaking at 11,900 RPM, it is unmatched in it’s class, delivering it’s power in a broad tractable powerband, meaning less fatigue and more control.
Showa’s supsension gives the 450MX 310mm of travel on the front, and the rear 301mm – pair this with Brembo calipers and a total weight of just 105kg, the 450MX is incredibly agile and is ready to win.
Not only is the new 450MX boasting competitive hardware, but it’s also equipped with smart electronics – a rare thing in motorcross. Coming with traction control (a first in motorcross), launch control, engine brake control, quickshifter, dual riding modes and fall detection – all designed to help you ride at your best!
