The Ducati Streetfighter V4 takes the Panigale V4’s MotoGP derived engineering and strips away the fairing, creating a raw, naked interpretation of Ducati’s flagship superbike rather than a softer alternative to it. Its 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 uses the same 81mm bore, 53.5mm stroke, 14.0:1 compression ratio, counter-rotating crankshaft and Twin Pulse firing order as the Panigale, producing 214hp at 13,500rpm and 120.0Nm of torque at 11,250rpm, with twin injectors per cylinder and full ride by wire elliptical throttle bodies sharpening response. A six speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 handles clutchless changes up and down through a hydraulically controlled slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch, with drive sent to the rear wheel through a 520 chain final drive, and a Variable Intake System, first introduced on this model, broadens the spread of power so the engine pulls hard from low revs as well as revving cleanly beyond 14,000rpm. An aluminium alloy Front Frame keeps the chassis compact, with a fully adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork offering 125mm of travel at the front and a fully adjustable Sachs unit giving 130mm at the rear. Twin 330mm discs with Brembo Monobloc Hypure four piston calipers and race eCBS handle the front braking, backed by a 245mm rear disc, while a wide 200 section Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa rear tyre puts that power down out of corners. A 16 litre tank keeps range respectable for a naked this focused, and at 189kg with an 845mm seat height and a 1,496mm wheelbase, it carries real presence without feeling unmanageable. That 90 degree V4 layout balances itself without a heavy countershaft, so the engine stays light and revs with genuine urgency, giving the Streetfighter V4 a character few other naked bikes can match. It suits experienced riders who want brutal, race derived performance in an upright, wide barred package, rather than a fully faired supersport stance, and who value visibility and control in busy traffic just as much as outright pace.
