The Honda MSX125, globally recognised as the Grom, squeezes genuine full sized motorcycle handling into one of the smallest packages on sale. Chassis specification punches well above its size, with upside down 31mm forks at the front, a genuine surprise on a bike this compact, and a monoshock rear end running through a sturdy steel square pipe swingarm. Braking is equally serious, with a 220mm front disc and dual piston caliper backed by IMU controlled ABS, and a 190mm rear disc with a single piston caliper. Fat 120/70-12 and 130/70-12 tyres give the Grom its distinctive, chunky stance and genuinely confident grip when leant over. At 103kg, with a 1,200mm wheelbase and a 761mm seat height, it stays light, flickable and endlessly easy to throw around on the way to work or at the weekend.
